MANUAL
1. What is Sacred Gear?
Main objective of the game is to eliminate the opposition by using the arsenal and vehicles available. The player can choose between three different classes with various abilities and weapons. Within the game, the main source of power is Steam which both flight and weaponry are dependent upon. It is important for the players to monitor their steam levels so it doesn’t run out since this will leave them unable to fire, and must therefore wait for it to regenerate.
2. Game Modes
2.1. Deathmatch
Free for all, everyone competes against each other with the single objective of eliminating the opposition as many times as possible. The player with the most kills is the winner. Game length is varied with either a fixed time limit or a specified amount of kills.
2.2 Team Deathmatch
In this game type, both of the two teams compete in trying to kill each other as many times as possible. Each successful kill awards the individual player a kill as well as the team. The winner is established through the team with most kills scored during a limited pre-specified time or until a certain score is achieved.
3. Classes
3.1 Vanguard
The Vanguards are the most armored warriors on the battlefield. They are not very fast nor agile, but that doesn’t matter when you have firepower and endurance to last a millennia. They have a special ability known as the Warstomp, which sends out shockwaves from the Vanguard that drains all available steam from enemies in his direct vicinity, while only draining half of his own.
3.2 Nemesis
The Nemesis is silent and very deadly. Stalking their prey and usually picking them off from a distance with the legendary sniper rifle the Gods Eye. What they lack in armor they more then make up for in quickness and maneuverability. They have a special ability known as Crystal Trance. When in use it will render the player invisible for a short duration of time and it is active as long as the player has steam left.
3.3 Templar
Templars are well balanced in the art of war and are famous for their superior grenade launcher. As evidence of their ingenuity this gives them the upper hand in most battles.
4. Vehicles
4.1 The Grinder
A vehicle shaped like a cogwheel with a ferocious look to it due to the sharp and thorny band track surrounding it. These allow for spectacular road kills and any enemy that comes in contact with the claws will most likely be killed. The Grinder crew consists of two players. It is possible to operate the wheel with one player and the first one to enter does just that. However, its weapon will be unusable and road kills will be its only offensive capability. Another player of the same team can enter as the gunner which will operate a side mounted flamethrower called the Witchburner. This weapon can cast flames a fairly decent distance away from the vehicle.
4.2 The Stormbrig
The Stormbrig is a large airship loaded with armaments. It has the ability to fly to any location on the map and provides a good amount of defense. The onboard canon, known as the Haymaker, is huge and fires a big lead ball that bounces and rolls along the ground depending on its velocity. Anyone getting hit or rolled over by this big cannonball will die. Once the cannonball has come to a halt it will explode. The Stormbrig can house a pilot and a gunner. The pilot controls the movement of the ship as well as the Haymaker, while the gunner operates a heavy belly turret machinegun.
